We're a BRAND NEW church in Hazleton! There are no perfect people allowed. We're a community where genuine authenticity is developed rather than discouraged. You'll find that we're a center-city, multi-ethnic, Latino-cultured church.

We have monthly Sunday Gatherings at LCCC in Downtown Hazleton at 10am on the 4th Sunday of each month. We also have weekly Community Groups meeting throughout the Greater-Hazleton area.

Every month, we meet at 10am on the 4th Sunday of the month at LCCC in Downtown. This is a larger community of truth where the gospel is clearly proclaimed and God is worshipped through giving, serving, and singing.

Our Mission

Multiplying Followers of Jesus

Our VIsion

Giving every man, woman, and child in Hazleton repeated opportunities to hear, see, and respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ

Core Values

We’re sinners. Jesus came. We can be rescued through repentance of sin and faith in Jesus’ perfect life, death, and resurrection on our behalf. We are daily motivated by the grace and mercy of God the Father, through Jesus, in the power of the Spirit. So as we fall deeper in love with Jesus we will live our lives for God, not ourselves, and communicate the gospel in every aspect of life.
The truth of the gospel shows us that no one has it all together. If we are nothing without Christ, then we have no right to view ourselves higher than anyone else. So as a church, we will always view others as higher than ourselves. We will provide a community where genuine authenticity is developed rather than discouraged.
We exist to give every man, woman, and child in Wilkes-Barre repeated opportunities to hear, see, and respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ. So we will be actively involved in the life of the city in order to show the love of Jesus in reality rather than theory.

Evangelism and discipleship form the mission of the church. God is in the process of rescuing sinners from the curse of sin and training believers to be more like Jesus. So we will communicate the good news of Jesus with our lives in order to reach people far from God and aggressively develop committed followers of Jesus.
We believe the best way to reach a specific geography is to plant new churches while strengthening existing churches. So we will plant churches that will each, in turn, reproduce more churches while engaging existing churches as partners in the gospel.

Our Story

In 2014, long-time friends Andy Tritt & Keith Wagner dreamed of starting a church together in Downtown Hazleton.

In late-2014, their families approached the leadership of Restored Church in Wilkes-Barre about the possibility of partnering to plant a new church in Hazleton.

In 2015, they joined Restored Church and launched a group in Keith & Jen Wagner’s living room to reach their unchurched friends.

In 2016, they expanded from 1 Community Group to 3 Community Groups. They also celebrated their first 3 baptisms.

In June 2017, Pastor Danny Gonzalez moved his family from Miami, Florida to become the Lead Church Planter & Hazleton Pastor.

In July 2017, the Restored Hazleton Launch Team began monthly Sunday Gatherings in Downtown Hazleton at LCCC.

By the end of 2017, Restored Hazleton had celebrated 7 baptisms, and had 4 community groups meeting weekly.

Restored Hazleton continues to move forward in multiplying followers of Jesus. They are working toward planting a center-city, multi-ethnic, Latino-cultured church in Downtown Hazleton.
